Baybi.O The Generation Companionship eG

The fashion industry produces far more than is actually needed.
Every year, more than 90 million tons of clothing are discarded worldwide — the equivalent of one truckload every second.
A large portion is barely worn or disposed of immediately.
Recycling plays only a minor role.
Fast fashion is not an exception — it is the system.
Cheaply produced, globally distributed, briefly used, and quickly replaced.
The result: wasted resources, high emissions, and growing amounts of waste.
We fundamentally question this system.
Production only begins when real demand exists.
In the microfactory, clothing is produced locally, on demand, and without overproduction.
Together with our members, we are building an alternative production model.
More details about the concept and its implementation can be found on our Our Project page.
Earth Overshoot Day shows how early we exhaust our natural resources.
Even today, our consumption already exceeds the resources available to us.
In fashion as well, more is produced than is actually used.
Not through sacrifice — but through a different production model.
Production only on demand.
Use instead of waste.
Demand drives production — not forecasts.
The goal is a structure that only uses resources when real demand exists.
