Baybi.O The Generation Companionship eG
What is a Microfactory?
A microfactory is a compact, modular production unit designed for flexible, demand-driven manufacturing.
Unlike traditional factories, production takes place in smaller, scalable units. This approach reduces capital requirements, allows production capacity to grow as needed, and shortens supply chains.
The first Baybi.O Microfactory is currently being established in the Monforts Quarter in Mönchengladbach, Germany.
The microfactory forms the foundation of our production structure.
Membership means participating in the development and operation of this structure.
This technology makes it possible to produce knitted garments in a 3D process based on the principle of “Pixel to Product.”
This enables true on-demand production — only what is actually needed and purchased by the customer is manufactured.
Thanks to our Shop-Sync Design / Order Portal, orders can be placed either directly in-store with personal consultation or conveniently online.
All orders are synchronized with our ADF machines in real time, enabling seamless and individualized production.
The following section demonstrates how our Shop-Sync Design / Order Portal works.
The technology enables seamless production and expands the possibilities of knitwear manufacturing.

The goal is a structure that only uses resources when real demand exists.
Changing Production Together

Clothing remains part of a structure designed to extend usage and conserve resources.
Knitted products are designed for repeated use and integration into a functioning circular system.

No longer using it?
Return your garment and receive store credit.
Each item is inspected, refurbished, and reintegrated into the system.

Refurbished pieces are offered again — inspected and ready for continued use.
Products remain part of a structure that extends usage instead of replacing it.

Less waste, more efficient use of resources, and longer product life cycles.
At the same time, it creates access to high-quality clothing at fair prices.
The result: a circular structure that works locally and makes economic sense.
Become Part of the Movement

Members are actively involved in the development and use of the structure.
Production is carried out with partners who operate in an environmentally and socially responsible way.
Structures are built to remain economically sustainable over time.
Responsibility and value creation are carried within the structure itself.
Producing Differently, Together

Production takes place locally and based on real demand — without overproduction and without unnecessary inventory.
The foundation is 3D knitting technology combined with a structure that directly connects efficiency and value creation.

Members are actively involved in design, ordering, and production.
Design, demand, and manufacturing are directly connected.

Used products are returned, refurbished, and reintegrated into the structure.
Usage is extended, resources are conserved, and a functioning circular system is created.
Participate Instead of Just Consuming
You are not just a consumer, but part of the development process.
Your decisions directly influence what is produced.
Production only takes place in response to real demand.
Only what is actually needed is manufactured.
This prevents overproduction.
Through the Sync-Shop system, selection, customization, and ordering are directly connected.
Every decision immediately becomes part of the production process.
A direct connection is created between you, the product, and the manufacturing process.
This increases transparency and responsibility within the structure.

The microfactory connects demand, production, and usage within one integrated structure.
Members are directly involved in the development and expansion of this structure.
Our memberships are securely managed through Creoby.
During registration, you will be transferred to their protected environment.
